Independently, Hera Chan and Edwin Nasr are each curators, researchers and writers. As a duo, they plan to further their curatorial practice through site visits and artist studio visits that tie together the threads between decentralised spiritualism, economic anomalies—from miracles to malaise—and the port city logics of Singapore, Hong Kong, and Beirut. They seek to examine the plasticity of having faith in a network-based model as impacted by the economic and materialist conditions of Singapore.
