As part of the exhibition, Elia Nurvista and Bagus Pandega: Nafasan Bumi ~ An Endless Harvest, contemporary artist Bagus Pandega activates L.O.O.P (Loss Overgrown Organic Pulse) (2026) and L.O.G (Lenyap Oleh Gerigi; lit. Vanished by Serrations) (2026) into a multisensory sonic experience, filling the space with rhythm, resonance and unexpected harmonies.

Known for combining sculpture, light and technology, Pandega creates surprising encounters that challenge pre-conditioned relationships between objects and their viewers. His works often come alive through the interplay of movement, sound and illumination, transforming static materials into dynamic systems.

At the heart of L.O.O.P lies a conveyor belt system animated by biofeedback from tropical plants. Responding to subtle signals of living matter, nickel pellets are carried to the top of the belt before cascading onto a large metal plate. Each impact reverberates through the installation, its sound transmitted to a music box affixed to timber, triggering delicate melodies that intertwine with the mechanical rhythm. These signals trigger the music boxes for L.O.G, connecting both installations in a continuous sonic loop.

Through this choreography of plants, machines and sound, Pandega invites the audience to witness an endless harvest—a cycle in which organic pulse and industrial process converge, blurring boundaries between nature and technology.

This programme is presented in conjunction with the exhibition, Elia Nurvista and Bagus Pandega: Nafasan Bumi ~ An Endless Harvest.
