In March 2021, pilot Residents, Chu Hao Pei, Salty Xi Jie Ng and Johann Yamin held SAM Residencies' first ever public programme. An Afternoon of Conversations with SAM Residents was a by-invite event that took place at Ground-Up Initiative, a community patron initiative. Amidst unspoilt greenery and under a barrage of torrential rain, the Residents shared their developing research interests with industry colleagues and contemporaries.
