Manager, Human Resource (1 Year Contract)

Full-time Position

He/She will serve as the HR Partner in SAM, working hand-in-hand with business leaders in areas like talent acquisition, organisational design, performance management, learning and development and other people-related matters.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Responsible for managing day-to-day HR activities
  • Provide a broad range of consultative services and work closely with the business leaders to support the operational requirements
  • Involved in all recruitment activities including identifying staffing needs, creating job descriptions, posting of job advertisements, shortlisting of candidates and arranging interviews
  • See through HR matters on onboarding and offboarding of candidates
  • Work with internal stakeholders closely on matters such as manpower planning, employee retention, forecasting and budgeting and employee contracts
  • Analyze workforce data, prepare workforce reports, evaluate risks associated with HR interventions and take appropriate actions to control the risks
  • Active engagement with staff and propose effective interventions to raise employees’ efficiency and engagement
  • Review HR policies, processes and strategies and implement best practices to attract, retain and develop human capital in SAM
  • Assist in managing the HR budget and expenses
  • Manage staff wellness and maintain HR system and staff records
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations as well as SAM’s internal controls
  • Support on HR communications (e.g. emails and other platforms)
  • Support the implementation of projects and initiatives in the company as required (e.g. well-being and CSR initiatives, launch of enhancements to HR systems, process improvement initiatives, etc)

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
 

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • At least 9 years of working experience in human resource function, exposure to HR generalist or business partnering function will be an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of employment laws, regulations and market practices
  • Professional working knowledge of HRIS
  • People-oriented, emotionally intelligent team player with good written and verbal skills
  • Able to influence at multiple levels within the organisation
  • Positive, resourceful and driven to succeed
  • Interest in arts and culture sector
